Looking for wedding car hire in London? We are a London chauffeur company, and our wedding cars are modern executive vehicles driven by professional chauffeurs: a dark Mercedes or BMW saloon for the bride, a Range Rover for a more imposing arrival, or a people carrier for the wedding party. We do not run vintage cars or Rolls-Royces, and we would rather say so than let you find out on the day.

What our wedding car hire in London includes
Our service is hourly hire. The car and chauffeur are yours for the hours you book, so the chauffeur waits at the church or register office, waits through the photographs and drives you on to the reception. You do not pay a separate fee for each leg.
Every price includes VAT, and hourly hire has a 4-hour minimum. For most weddings that is the right length anyway: home to ceremony, photographs, then the drive to the reception.
Choosing the right car
We use the same fleet for weddings as for every other booking, so you can see exactly what you are getting.
- Mercedes E-Class or BMW 5 Series takes up to 3 passengers. It is a smart, understated choice for a bride and one parent, or for the couple and a witness.
- Mercedes S-Class or BMW 7 Series takes up to 3 passengers and has the most rear-seat space of the saloons, which matters when the dress is full.
- Range Rover takes up to 4 passengers. The higher seat makes getting in and out easier, and it suits country and rural venues.
- Mercedes V-Class or VW Transporter takes up to 8 passengers, ideal for bridesmaids, the groom’s party or parents and grandparents.
- Mercedes Sprinter minibus takes up to 16 passengers and is quoted on request, for guest shuttles between the ceremony and the reception.
A tip on dresses
If the dress is large, tell us when you enquire. The S-Class, 7 Series or a Range Rover will usually be more comfortable than the smaller saloon, and we can plan extra time for getting in and out.
Wedding chauffeur hourly rates
In London our hourly rates are £60 for the E-Class, £75 for the S-Class and V-Class and £95 for the Range Rover. Beyond the M25 they are £70, £85, £85 and £105. You will find the full table on our prices page.
Anything not in that table is quoted on request: a very long day, an overnight stay, a venue far from London or a minibus for the guests. Send us the details and we will reply with a fixed price before you commit.
Wedding cars across London
We drive weddings in every part of the capital, whether you need wedding car hire in east London, west London, north London or south London. Our chauffeurs are used to the typical pinch points: the City on weekdays, the Westway and the North Circular, and the narrow streets around many registry offices and churches.
For a venue outside the M25 the outside-London hourly rate applies. If your ceremony is in one county and your reception in another, tell us both addresses and we will quote the whole day.
Planning your wedding day timings
A rough plan helps the chauffeur more than anything else. Good things to settle in advance:
- The pick-up time and address. Add a buffer for dressing, photographs at home and traffic.
- The ceremony time and venue. Arriving a few minutes early is better than arriving late, so we build in margin.
- Photograph locations. If you want pictures at a park or landmark on the way, tell us so we can include it in the hours.
- The reception address and how long you expect to stay before the car leaves.
- Parking and access. Some venues have limited drop-off space, and we will check this with you.
On a Saturday in summer, central London traffic and road closures can be heavy, so we plan the route and timing around that rather than leaving it to chance.
Guests, family and airport transfers
Weddings rarely involve just the couple. The V-Class and the minibus can move the wedding party together, and if relatives are flying in we run transfers from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City. For larger groups, see our minibus and coach hire.

On the day itself
Your chauffeur arrives at the agreed time, a few minutes early, with the car clean and ready. We keep an eye on live road conditions, and you can check TfL’s road and traffic information for the capital yourself. If a road closure affects your route, the chauffeur takes the alternative without you having to think about it.
For the journey from the ceremony, the chauffeur will open the door, help with the dress and bouquet, and wait while you have photographs taken. Please tell us in advance if anyone in the party has reduced mobility, so we can pick the right car and plan the drop-off point.
Guests flying in
If family or friends are arriving from abroad, the airports’ own sites have the latest arrival information, for example Heathrow.com. Give us the flight numbers and we will plan the pick-ups around the wedding timetable.
